IP Address Never Changes When Using NordVPN on Firewalla Blue

I set up NordVPN on a Firewalla Blue. I am using the Simple Mode.

I configure my computer to use an IP Address in the Overlay Network range and check my IP Address using WhatIsMyIPAddress and my IP Address is the same as it was before I turned on the VPN.

My setup is as follows:

AT&T U-verse Router > Deco M9+ > TP-Link Switch > Firewalla

How can I get the FWB VPN and  NordVPN to work with my AT&T U-verse Router?

  Do you have ipv6 on your network? usually that's the cause of traffic not getting to the VPN

  No, I don't have ipv6 on my network.
