Production Box Version 1983, Gold Pro

Can Firewalla confirm whether the recently identified Unbound vulnerabilities, including CVE-2026-81642, have been addressed in the production release for the Firewalla Gold Pro? My device currently reports Box Version 1.983 (b7506708), last updated June 17, 2026. Have the fixes been deployed to production, and if so, how can customers verify that their devices have received them? Were the corrections incorporated into the existing 1.983 release, or will they require a subsequent box update? Thank you.

  This fix has already been applied to all supported platforms.

  Also, unless you are exposing unbound (your DNS) to the internet (from outside), the risk is not that big

  Does the deployed fix address both CVEs, and can Firewalla confirm that the Gold Pro production installation contains those corrections?
