How many wifi device can it handle
I’m moving from a UniFi enterprise LAN system to an X Switch and a couple of AP7s. Right now, I’m using the Gold Plus as my router with a UniFi Enterprise switch, Cloud Key controller, a UniFi Enterprise access point, and a UniFi Mesh access point.
My system handles about 40 Wi-Fi devices, and sometimes it’s closer to 50 depending on what I have on the system. In prior years, I noticed that some other brands didn’t necessarily handle that many devices well. I would get access points that needed to be rebooted because they were dropping devices, and it seemed like those devices and their CPUs were getting overloaded.
I presently run two VLANs as Wi-Fi networks, along with two 2.4 GHz channels, two 5 GHz channels, and one 6 GHz channel.
Do these AP7s handle that level of Wi-Fi devices relatively well?
