If you are running in router mode already (I assume you are), you can just take this unit and plug into the T-Mobile 5G (I assume it is DHCP). Then you really don't need to reconfigure everything ... they should all work

    I was told the T-Mobile 5g router doesn't allow bypass/pass through/bridge mode.  Doesn't that mean they'll be double NAT'd?

Depends on your configuration, if you really don't like the double NAT, firewalla gold also supports bridge mode. https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500012304202-Firewalla-Transparent-Bridge-Mode

Sorry, just recently saw your post. I've used Firewalla Blue Plus for almost 2 years with T-Mobile 5g with no issues. I just plugged my TP-Link Router into the T Mobile Nokia router and turned off Wi Fi on the T-Mobile router. You can check, on YouTube, the Nater Tater channel. He has done great work with ALL the T Mobile routers and explains how to turn off wifi on each model. I did change the MTU (Packet size) to 1420 which many have said to do on my TP-Link AX21 router. I presently have it in simple mode utilizing my TP-Link router. Just ordered the new Purple SE and will try using Router mode with Firewalla when it arrives. Best of luck
