Slow upload speed with Monitoring enabled

setup AT&T fiber (ip pass through) -> firewalla gold (router mode) -> Orbi RBR 750 (access point mode)

When monitoring is off, upload speed goes to 1000 mbps plus. when monitoring is on, speed goes down to 300 mbps. I get the same results when emergency access is enabled or disabled. These speed tests are executed from Orbi interface.

Note: When I run speed test using Firewalla internal program, I get 1200 Mbps plus for both up and download.

looking for a specific settings that may help gaining upload speed.

  If you get 1200 Mbps firewalla internal, and outside (I assume you used an Ethernet port test) 300, then tap on "smart queue", tap on rules, and see if you have anything limiting.

  If you don't have anything limiting, is it

  1. Your Orbi 750 is doing the speedtest via ethernet connection to the Firewalla gold

  2. When you are doing speedtest via the orbi, monitoring is on, you get 300mbit and monitoring is off (on the firewalla) you get 1000+

  If above is true

  To rule out anything funcky on the orbi (using the wrong speed server), can you run a speedtest via another ethernet connected device? if it behavior is the same, let me know, I'll create you a case
