Issues with Port Forwarding

I've been trying to forward two ports on my Firewalla Gold and it seems that they are not being exposed.

• Firewalla is running in router mode bridged to my router.  Firewalla connects to my ISP and get assigned an external IP.
• I've set up the NAT Port Forwarding to forward the ports to a particular device which I have confirmed has the correct IP. 
• On the device, I have temporarily disabled the firewall while checking the ports are forwarded.

At the moment, I cannot access the port externally, either on the port forwarding apps or via a VPN?  It seems like the Firewalla is not forwarding the ports. 

Any thoughts?

  The most common problem is you may not have a public IP, triple check if you can. Or, your router before firewalla is in NAT mode

  I'm having the exact some problem with Gold.  I have a public IP (it didn't change with the addition of Firewalla), and I've also used the xxxx.firewalla public domain for my router and no luck.

  Usually it is an issue of nested routers

  Turns out I had to contact my ISP and get them to turn off the NAT at the ISP level. Apparently it's called GG-NAT and is used to reduce the number of IP v4 addresses used.
