Firewalla orange for security on mesh network, not routing

Just got my orange. First time setting up a firewalla product. I have mesh network (deco)with 3 nodes. I want to continue to use my current router (main AP) for routing. Where should I be putting the orange in my setup for the so I has access to all my devices? Should I connect it to my cable modem on the Wan port and then lan to my main router?

  Note im am asking this because in the firewalla app i see a lot of device have this message “Unable to monitor
  The traffic of this device cannot be captured by Firewalla. Connect this device to the downlink ports on Firewalla to get monitored.” I assume because they are connected to my other APs

  Hi there,

  To get the most visibility and control, we recommend using Firewalla as your main router, with your mesh system set to AP/Bridge mode. It would look something like this:

  Modem > Firewalla Orange (Router Mode) > Mesh Router (AP or Bridge Mode)

  In this setup, Firewalla is in the path of all your traffic, so it can monitor and manage all devices on your network.
