Access Points - Per Device Preferred Band

It would be nice if there was an option to set a preferred band per device. It can be increasingly annoying when devices such as my phone use the 2.4 GHz band and not the 5 or 6 GHz band especially when I'm near the AP. I can get around this by installing a WiFi application to set the band on my phone but it's annoying to do especially if the app closes. Love you guys ❤️

  Hi there,

  Thanks for the request. Have you tried creating separate SSIDs for each band? You could create a separate 2.4 GHz-only SSID, and another SSID that supports only 5 GHz and/or 6 GHz, then connect your phone to the SSID with the band you prefer.
