Can't access SMB when "Traffic from & to Internet" is enabled

So this is a weird one, my network setup looks like this

I have "Traffic from & to Internet" and "Traffic from & To All Local Networks" blocked on the NAS VLAN 212, then I have rules for the devices on the Trusted VLAN 155 to allow them to access the IP of the NAS.

However, I am having a weird issue. My Mac is not able to access SMB, but it is able to access AFP, if I pause the "Traffic from & to Internet" rule it works immediately, as you can see below

Weirdly I have a Raspberry Pi which is also allowed to access the NAS and it works as you would expect.

Does anyone have any ideas?

  Hmm, weirdly I have just edited the network, changed the DNS to 172.16.0.2 to use Pi-Hole and it works, changed it back to 192.168.212.1 and it still works :|

  <edit> But only for a short while, then it starts happening again, then if I edit the network and save again it works for a while :|

  I've given up and moved the NAS back to VLAN 115, no idea why SMB wasn't working but AFP and NFS were.
