Rules Enforcement Only Sometimes?
I recently started adding more rules esp for specific users but noticed odd enforcement of them at times. If I turn on no video sites it wouldn't enforce it and let me go to youtube, netflix, etc. This over multiple devices and browsers within that user group. I made sure to double check my DNS settings all all devices which are pointed to the firewalla locally.
Troubleshooting, I disabled my DNS over HTTPS and suddenly the rules started working again. If i turn on the DoH back on the rules continue to work as expected... not sure what changed as I didn't make any changes to my DoH settings except to toggle it on and off.

Nope, tried that too. Even logged into a separate kids ssid which was supposed to have much stronger rules blocking most things and it let everything thru. No idea how long it hadn’t been enforcing them but the hit counter on the base rules were going.
I did pull up the flows screen and watched in realtime the queries allowed thru despite the rules. Checked the dns server log and the requests were coming from the box.
