A router connected to another router, is not a simple configuration.

Firewalla is a router, and can function as a DHCP server.

I assume your Cisco router is a consumer device that's also your WiFi? It is likely also functioning as a DHCP server, too, by default. I assume this is a home network?

If yes, then disable the Cisco device's DHCP and find a bridge or non-routing mode in it so that its providing WiFi - only WiFi - and nothing more.

Once the configuration change is made you will need to reboot the Cisco device and all your WiFi devices and anything else physically plugged into the Cisco device (Ethernet). It's OK if the Cisco device has multiple Ethernet ports so long as they are are all the same network - which should be the case if it's in bridge mode.

Also turn off the firewall rules to make sure that basic networking is working in your home for everything before layering on rules and remote access VPN.

The bottom like is that this stuff is not plug and play when you connect multiple routers/firewall/WiFi devices together unless you know how basic networking works. All-in one devices are usually plug and play when it's ONE device. If you have an IT networking friend, I suggest calling him/her.

Firewalla in bridge mode shall not be placed behind a modem. It should be connected behind a router: Modem -> Router -> Firewalla (bridge mode) -> AP/Switch/other devices.

I didn't recommend to configure Firewalla in bridge mode. I recommended to configure Cisco router in bridge mode. :-)

Therefore my recommendation equates to ISP Modem -> Firewalla (NOT bridge mode - it should be router mode) -> Cisco Router/AP/Switch/other devices

    :-)
