Firewalla gold plus/switch question

I recently bought a Trendnet TPE-2417SBF managed switch and I created a new VLAN and set up the switch with the correct trunk ports/ tagged vs untagged and set the IP information on the switch and its connecting to the internet no problem. My issue is my ceiling AP7 is connected to the switch but doesn’t show it’s wired, shows it as wireless from my other AP7. Doesn’t appear I’m able to see traffic either. I’ve got all the ports on the switch to the same VLAN. Is there an option on the switch I need to enable or disable?

  You need to pass the default VLAN (the one with no VLAN tag) to the port where your AP7D is connected to.

  So I need to tag that port? I have a VLAN trunk for port 8 which is wired directly to the firewalla box and port 7 is connected to the AP7 ceiling. My AP7 desktop is connected to another non VLAN network I created prior to me getting this switch and the VLAN network I created on my box. Still not 100% sure if I need to go into the trunking settings and also set port 8 as a trunk port.
