Did you manually create the profile? or they were generated by the firewalla?

Is your phone managed by MDM? does your ISP block VPN services? If both profiles are simular, likely something else is going on beyond firewalla

The phone is not managed by MDM. My ISP doesn't block inbound VPN, otherwise the Windows laptop wouldn't be able to connect. The phone can use other commercial VPN providers successfully.

Try to remove the profile on your phone and re-add it. If that does not work, please send help@firewalla.com an email, see if we can help you looking inside.

Some progress! I can now VPN from my phone to external addresses, but it's unable to connect to local network resources. Suggestions?

Do you have any rules blocking wirguard from accessing? try to use ping or tracroute again and see what is blocking or dropping your traffic

You can search for "network tools" in the Play store, and download one to help with the ping tests.

Thanks! When I'm on the local network, the IP address resolves as '(computer).local'. When I'm on the VPN, it resolves to '(computer).lan'.

FWIW, my Windows VPN client happily connects to '(computer).local' when both on the local network and on the VPN. And everything else around the local network happily connects to '(computer).local'.

And from the local network, '(computer).lan' doesn't resolve as a valid name.

    Suggestions?
