Accessing Print on Different Network
Hello. I am just installing and setting up Firewalla Gold Plus and AP7 and I am not able to access my printer across networks.
I have a wired network (basically one computer) and a wireless network for everything else including a wireless printer. I am able to print from a computer on the wireless network without issue. I am not able to connect or ping the printer from the wired network. Printer is shown as Offline.
How can I set this up (maybe a rule) to allow access across the two networks for printer access and another computer? Or maybe there is a better way to approach this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have not been able to find a solution searching the Internet or Firewalla's website. Thanks, Frank

Hi there,
Try enabling mDNS and SSDP Relay on your printer's network. Then, create a bidirectional allow rule from your computer to the printer device so you can access it.
With the AP7, a simpler method is to enable VqLAN on a "wireless" group and add your computer as an Allowed Device to your printer.
