Can I use a WiFi range extender with Purple?

The house is only 1100 square feet. Can I just use a range extender ( example: Linksys RE7000 Max-Stream™ AC1900+ WiFi Extender) instead of having to add WiFi access points? I will be using the Purple as the main router. We have about a dozen devices (mostly old Samsung Multiroom speakers and a couple of tablets) needing WiFi. Thanks

  as long as the extender works in access point mode with your primary router, then it should work. Otherwise, you may see duplicated devices (different MAC, but same device) on extender and primary network.
