FW Gold SE - Not Stable
After having use the OG FWG with a number of years and zero issues, I had no worries buying the FWG SE for a family member. With the FWG SE I have had issue after issue,
Current issue - I have 2 working VLANs that are primarily used for WiFi SSIDs i.e. IoT, I want to adde another VLAN but no matter what I do specifically copying every attribute to from working VLANs. If I switch AP (OMADA) SSIDs between the different VLANs, the issue on affects the new VLAN.
The problem is that when connecting to the VLAN it assigns devices an APIPA address, therfore non-routaable or able to get internet access in this access.
Potential casues?
- Maximum 2 VLANs on on FWG SE?
- FWG SE hardware performance issues?
- FWG SE DHCP server issue? no logs to check if the DHCP lease is getting requested
Any ideas that I can try?

At the moment, we don't have a limit on how many VLANs you can have on GSE. This should not be a box's hardware issue if other 2 VLANs are working. We'd suggest double check your switch settings and AP settings.
