After watching my RULES statistics for an hour or so, I noticed many attempts to access my site by encipher.io.

I created a RULE to BLOCK the domain called, encipher.io.

After about 1 hour or so I tried to add another RULE.  I was notified that firewalla.encipher.io DNS entry could not be accessed.  (Not exact wording).

I tried to RESET ALL Rules and the firewalla.encipher.io error message was flashed across my screen.

I successfully reset the Purple unit to FACTORY.  I then successfully re-paired.

  encipher.io is a site used by firewalla for encrypted messaging. You should not block it. 

  How did block the site? and what do you mean by attempts to access your site? are you doing an external scan?

  Prior to adding the BLOCK (encipher.io) rule, the blocked flows report indicated dozens of encipher.io entries.

  Is there any official firewalla documentation that discusses encipher.io and any other DNS names that are important to the purple device ???
