Help with new Purple in router mode
Just trying to figure out how to do this. Admitted noob here ...
Currently, I have a direct fiber ONT drop (ethernet outlet in the wall) that runs to a Linksys Velop running as a router and connected to other Velop nodes as a mesh, and an ethernet switch attached to the other port on the Velop acting as a router. I do need to use port forwarding as I have a Synology NAS as well as several other devices in need of an ethernet connection (e.g., TiVo Stream, Lutron hub for HomeKit, etc.). My current configuation with a Blue Plus Firewalla has it attached to the switch.
Seems that the suggested configuration is ONT to Firewalla, but then should I connect to the Velop and connect the switch to the Velop, or connect the Firewalla to the switch and plug the Velop into the switch?
Does the Purple offer port forwarding and remote access for administration? Will I still be able to access the Velop remotely if I need to troubleshoot the WiFi network?

If your ethernet is doing backhaul, you may want to do
[ONT] --- [purple. router mode]---[velop]---switch---[other velop and other devices]
If you just doing normal wifi between the velop the switch can go under purple or velop
