It should not, the display does not cost much power on the Gold. It does look awsome!

Great... Will finalize a setup with appropriate bracket to attach above FWG... More pics at night 🤓

Replaced the 5" display with a 7" one with a holder frame... Much better 🤓

How much power is the display consuming? :) I am thinking of getting one or two of this too :)

I would recommend that you set the nice value to a low priority (a high value).

In your case based on the htop current process …

    renice -n 19 -p 27955

Make this the lowest priority process.

This is part of my... Man... Wall... Corner... Desk 🥲

    I need a CAVE!!!

Maybe thats why we men call it Man Cave... so women don't dare enter 🤣

I will check out the "renice" command priority thing... thanks Chris

I restarted htop... just to check... and run the renice command... now it was 0 and set to 19

I guess the previous instant of htop was running at 19

No. Everything is running Priority 20 Nice 0 (htop columns three and four).

Not sure why it thought it was at 19 already

You can start htop with a low priority with …

    nice -n 19 htop

You could even start this @reboot in crontab.
