Remote Access VPN without seeing details of far side network

Hello all. Just curious about something. I want to allow a family member to do a Remote Access VPN from their Firewalla to my Firewalla on certain devices. However, I dont really want to get notifications on devices on their network nor they get them for mine. Can you trust another Firewalla without being in control of it? Or should I just have them use Open VPN for the Remote Access rather than the built in Firewalla Remote Access VPN?

  Have you tried to block the VPN network from your local LAN? (tap on rules). This way they can go out from your network, but can't access the LAN
