Laptop opening Teredo port

For some reason my work laptop is giving the following alarm, UDP Port 55128 on device, 'My Laptop' is open to the public permanently for Teredo xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:55128->55128 UDP.

Does anyone know why I am getting this alert? My laptop and other devices are connected to NordVPN configured on the Firewalla Gold. My work IT department has no idea.

Should I block this open port? I believe I blocked a similar alert sometime ago, but was/am still able to access work resources remotely. I get this message, different ports, sporadically.

It is a Microsoft IPV6 tunneling service.

I block it on my network by adding a block entry in Firewalla for this domain: teredo.ipv6.microsoft.com
