notify OR block zero-days like minecraft log4j automatically

I would have liked to see firewalla release a quick patch yesterday which would have automatically disabled minecraft port forwarding rules (or at least notified users of the exploit with an option to disable it by simple 1 click button) automatically.

I think this would be a good use-case for quick-response service to advertise.

Also offer some users to opt-out from the auto-disable and only get the alert. (for instance for companies/people who might reuse odd ports for other reasons)

  What do you mean by Minecraft port forwarding rules? if they are installed vi UPnP, you should get an alert for it.  Disabling, you will need to do.
