Was bored... so I opened up the Firewalla Gold. Sharing below for anyone curious.

  When you put it back, make sure you apply the heatsink paste correctly to the CPU.

  Yea I did... Well... it was all thermal pads... Maybe I should get a fresh batch of pads and apply that.

  Cause its on the CPU and other chips and components... and they come in different sizes and thickness.

  Will look into it... thanks...

  Our vendor highly does not recommends opening the back side up, if not closed correctly, it may increase your CPU temperature.

  Got it...

  Disclaimer to all... Don't try this at home.

  Don't be dumb like me... but I can assure you I have Plan B... I have another Firewalla Gold stored. Its a backup unit if anything goes wrong with my current one.
