Firewalla Gold Throughput

Hello!

Whats the throughput when IDS/IPS is enabled on a Firewalla Gold?

I got 1 gig internet circuit with a wifi 6 router as all my clients are wireless.

And im curious about the throughput for the above device before buying :) .

Im planning this setup: ISP -> Firewalla Gold -> Wifi 6 router in AP mode -> Wifi 6 Clients

  I know I don't have 1 Gig, but I have 512 and my WIFI 6 devices utilize the full 512 bandwidth with everything on, No reduction in speed.   I don't believe there is an issue with the full 1GB.

  I have several network LANs, Vlans, LAG, VPN servers, clients and Docker running Pihole etc all configured on the gold in full router mode and no issues at all.

  The Gold with IPS/IDS on can do Gigabit. And if you do link bonding, it can do very close to 1.8gigabit. (when the load is reasonably balanced between the two bonded interfaces)

  Thanks for replies! So with the feature on I can still get close to gigabit or is it full? its not affected whether its on or off?
