Firewalla Gold VLAN and managed switches

Hopefully quick, basic question - can the Gold be placed between a cable modem and an eight port managed switch with VLAN (i.e. VLAN handled by switch not by FW Gold)?

  Yes, you will need to run the gold in router mode.

  Sure. I do this myself,... but yes, run the Gold in Router mode so that it is the one handing out the IP addresses.
