Firewalla Gold & Sonicwall Site to Site VPN

Hi everyone,

thinking of ordering a Firewalla Gold. Has anyone had any experience setting up a Site to Site with a Sonicwall TZ series firewall?

Does SonicWall speak OpenVPN or WireGuard?

Sonicwall should support Wireguard next year. OpenVPN is up in the air with what I am reading.

You can do Site to Site, but would require you to do some manual routes. I scripted a basic site to site between my FWG and a RPi via OpenVPN. It’s all in the background and doesn’t use the rules in the Firewalla UI.

If SonicWall supports WireGuard then it should work at least in client server mode. Site to site may require routing as @james indicated.
