Bogus Alarms

Hey,
Why is it that my Gold is alerting me that I'm "playing games on xsts.auth.xboxlive.com." when I'm not?

I'm not even running a windows box and the alert is coming from a device connected to an Apple Air Port Extreme access point.

What's this about?

Check and see if your apple air port extreme is running guest mode or any devices on it is not bridged to the gold.

No guest network.

I did add a block rule for the unexplained traffic but that won't fix the root cause that's not still not understood.

What device is the alarm says it is playing games? I was guessing it was your air port extreme? if not, then what is the device? There are things that runs Microsoft software will access that site ... which triggers game play alarms

It's a wifi access point so I can't tell which device it actually is unless sniff packets on that network and that goes beyond my interest in knowing.

If it is a wifi access point, is it running in bridge mode or AP mode? if not, you should change it to that mode, it will help the system detect devices behind it.

Switched my main access point to bridge mode, now alerts are flooding in as 'new devices'.
