Can't connect to scanner on HP multifunction printer from Windows 10 over internal WiFi network

Trying to scan an image on an HP MFP M426fdw scanner/printer from Windows 10.

Both devices are on the same WiFi network. Printing works fine.

The Windows "HP Scan" application can't connect to the scanner, the error message is, "Scanner communication cannot be established".

Worked fine before installing the Firewalla Gold.

  Sometimes the Gold will assign names you don’t expect to devices on the LAN. Check the name assigned on the device detail page for your multifunction device. The name will be on the “Local domain” line and be something like “hp.multifunction.lan”. Try using that name to tell what device the Windows app should use.
