How to stop DNS filtering from blocking outbound traffic?

I'm seeing blocked flows where the outbound traffic -- apparently going to synology.com -- is being blocked. The URL synology.com itself is not blocked. The output URL is appended with attlocal.net for reasons I don't understand. I do have att internet but don't understand why this is being added. Adding a rule that allows *.attlocal.net doesn't seem to affect things. If someone can someone explain what is issue here and how to fix it I'd be thankful.

  That domain does not exist, so firewalla is doing the right thing and blocking.

  Need to find out why attlocal.net is being added.
