Does FWG detect IPv6 only devices?

I've had a new Windows VM up and running on my network for a few days, it automatically picked up an IPv6 address and was successfully downloading updates from Microsoft, so I didn't bother to put an IPv4 address on it until today when I was preparing to join it to the Domain. Firewalla didnt send a New Device notification until after the VM was configured with an IPv4 address. Is this on purpose, or a bug? Firewalla should see the MAC Address of a new device as soon as the device begins to transmit packets, regardless of IP version. ...ct

  This is something likely on the app side. Likely it is either broken or never works. Will get to the bottom of this once the 4th holiday is over.
