Firewalla as failover secondary WAN using the WiFi SD?
I know I can set up my secondary WAN failover to connect to my phone's hotspot and have it failover to that. Problem is my cellular is spotty at my house. I was wondering if I got a Starlink mini and broadcasted a wifi SSID using their router, could I simply choose the Starlink Wifi SSID as my source for secondary WAN (failover) instead of using my phone's hotspot? Any issues or caveats? I alerady have the FWG+ and WiFi SD.
Ideally, if my internet goes down, I just set up the mini on my deck in the backyard and have it broadcast, so its wireless is available to connect to once FWG Plus sees it is online. Right now, I keep my hotspot off on my phone unless internet goes down, but in practice, my latency is so bad on my phone (100ms) that it is not usable. If I could use a starlink mini on a Lite plan that would be a great failover for my backup without having to mount a dish on my roof.
thanks.
