Cannot get the internet when using Firewalla Purple

    Oh I did read the note: "Please do not connect firewalla wan to your isp modem"  Not sure if that's the issue. since that is essentially how I have it setup.  Not sure how to avoid that

    Edit:  To clarify.  When I use my CM1100(modem) --> R7000 (router mode) it works fine with wifi internet.

    When I use my purple firewalla between the two:  CM1100(modem) --> WAN port on Purple(router mode) --> LAN of purple to R7000 internet input(gateway mode) the incoming internet light (from LAN purple) shows a problem and it will broadcast both my wifi signals at 2.4 and 5Gz but with no internet.  I have also tried this with my R7000 in AP mode with the same result.

    Also tried my purple firewalla between the two:  CM1100(modem) --> WAN port on Purple(GATEWAY mode) --> LAN of purple to R7000 internet input(ROUTER mode) the incoming internet light (from LAN purple) shows a problem and it will broadcast both my wifi signals at 2.4 and 5Gz but with no internet.

    For some reason the purple seems to not be allowing the R7000 to get the internet signal.

    Your topology: 

    CM1100 modem --> Firewalla Purple (router mode) --> Netgear R7000.

    Should be the right one. The only thing you need to make sure is, reboot the CM1100 when swapping in the purple, and make sure nothing else is connecting to the CM1100.

    If above doesn't work, check with your ISP, and make sure they are not MAC locking.

    To verify the MAC locking part, do this

    CM1100 modem -->  Netgear R7000 (router mode) -> Firewalla Purple (router mode) 

    See if you can access the purple, if not, the purple is not working
