Firewalla not learning network...?
Hi all,
I have been using a Firewalla Gold for a couple of years, and I just started paying closer attention to the upload alerts (ie. I took note of all of the alerts, and I vetted each, but never really paid attention to the fact that they were normal activity). For example, I have my cloud backup set up so that I have an upload of 1.05MB per day, like clockwork. This has been happening for years, and yet I still get alerts. I would have thought that, by now, the Firewalla would have "learned" that this is normal for my network. This is but one example. I am hoping that there is a setting somewhere that I have inadvertently tripped to stop the network learning, or some way to reset it (the learning part, not the entire device). What am I missing? Thanks!

The mechanism logic could be complicated and it learns from the whole network. New alarm could still come if no other devices doing uploading activity or the destination is not the same. Tune Alarm sensitivity a little probably help.

Thanks, all!
I reduced the sensitivity to "low" and that took care of the daily backup uploads. I just worry about any exfiltration that may "fly under the radar" as far as size is concerned, from something that doesn't act with any regularity... Still, this appliance is the best investment I have ever made in my home network!
