Some services on Sony Android TV connected to AP7 SLOW
I have found that when I connect my Sony Android TV to an AP7, whether wifi or ethernet, that streaming any content from MAX, Pluto TV, Peacock, PBS Kids or connecting to my Plex Server will take between 30-60 seconds to begin streaming/connect. It seems to only be these two streaming services, only on this client, and only when connected to the AP7. I have a Roku ultra connected to the TV also and the Roku does not exhibit this behavior. If I connect my tv to my phones hotspot or if I set up a different router/wireless device, the Sony does not exhibit this behavior. If I use another apps/services, the Sony does not exhibit this behavior. I’ve gone through and paused all rules to no avail, turned off Smart Queue to no avail and removed all microsegmentation that was in place. Nothing seems to be helping. The AP7 connected to my Firewalla Gold is connected through a Netgear managed switch.

It doesn't sound like a WiFi issue. Are you using IPv6 or any DNS features? I see this kind of problem more often due to a DNS problem. If not, it is better to change the WAN and LAN DNS server to an unfiltered public DNS such as 1.1.1.1 or 9.9.9.9.

Thank you for that. I do use DoH; otherwise, all other DNS settings are set to defaults, as far as I can tell. I had previously disabled IPv6 due to issues streaming Disney+. After enabling IPv6, all of the platforms are now loading in acceptable amounts of time and the ones that would not work are working. Thanks again!
