Will have a wait on this a bit; band steering is something we are experimenting with and the effectiveness need to prove itself before we jump in and tune it

Ok, thanks for responding. I'll probably wait then. I have a lot devices so it will be challenging for me to enable and see which devices behave and which don't. I'm not sure if it was called band steering, but my previous Orbi did a great job with this, but the Asus before that struggled. BTW, kudos for doing a great job with the new AP7 hardware and stable beta software.

Coming from Omada APs, there was logging showing when devices failed disassociation for roaming and I believe band steering. Is there a similar feature to know if band steering is failing on specific devices? Or similarly a way to see if devices are successfully being pushed onto different bands.

We will likely add "events" feature in the future, no detail release yet. (these events may be a bit noisy, if they are, likely the noisy part will be MSP only, the meaningful ones will stay in the app)

They typically are noisy. Agreed, hidden behind MSP, Advanced option, or verbose option seems like a good route. For troubleshooting, these are definitely invaluable. Maybe even expose them based on sensitivity or criticality level.

Yes, you are right. We had this feature and pulled it out 1.64 before beta. There are so many events, and most of them are not that useful, and many are useful if only looked at across a week...
