With the addition of the AP7... Can the MSP manage the AP7's/etc?

  yes. It will be included in the 2.9.0 release (likely in the summer)  We are still evaluating the additional cost increase needed. (likely the cost of a single egg ... in the Bay Area Safeway)

  What can we expect to see the 2.9.0 release come out? Do you have a general time frame or specific release date by chance.

  2.8.0 is now in early access, so 2.9.0 will likely be a summer release. (no specific timeline until we get this release in beta)
