VPN and DDNS with own domain

Thinking of jumping ship from my synology SRM system to firewalla gold for more granular control and monitoring of a growing network. Been perusing help files and want to make sure I’m interpreting things right. I have my own domain and run my own dns updater. Will plan on turning off the firewalla DDNS service as it’s not needed. When setting up a wireguard server on the firewalla, the DDNS field is just looking to resolve your WAN IP, right? I could just put my domain name in there and I’ll be good?

  Correct! You can change the destination to your domain in the VPN profile. As long as the DDNS works well, your client can connect back home.
