Pixel 8 Pro 6Ghz

Any idea when we can see the 6Ghz channel adjustable? I have ran into a weird issue and it's more of a device problem than the AP7.

My Pixel 8 Pro on 6Ghz channel 37 only pulls 200-300Mbps with wifi test. If I pause and resume wifi test it would jump up to 900 for a second and then drop back down. I somehow got the AP7 to move to channel 117 and now my Pixel 8 Pro pulled 2,400Mbps down. I tested this with other 6Ghz devices and they didn't have any issues with 6Ghz channels. Only the Pixel 8 Pro had this issue and searching online it seems it's very picky about what channel the 6Ghz is on and it has to be above channel 37 from what some users have said.

I switched from a Deco XE75 Pro and it always selected a channel that was too low so my Pixel would be fast for a few before dropping down to 40Mbps and had no way to change any channel on it so I just disabled the 6Ghz on it.

I contacted firewalla support and they locked the 6Ghz to channel 117 for me. No issues since.

Contacted Firewalla support. They locked channel 117 for me. Disconnects happened less often, but still happened. Turned off adaptive connectivity on my phone. No more drops. Thanks for the help.
