Any native news media block lists?

I created a target list of about 100 news media sites and ran into a problem adding MSN.com as follows:

msn.com/en-us/news

 

This was not accepted as valid syntax by target list.  Admittedly havent read enough to figure out a workaround but these sites like msn.com host news articles within the domain of msn instead of opening the original domain

Really only interested in blocking a sub domain associated with msn news articles and not something like msn weather

Any suggestions for comprehensive news media block lists that have already been created?

  May I ask why you want to block news media sites?
  Target list is the workaround for blocking sites like msn.com. en-us/news is the extension that is not visible to the router.

  Update is I'm seeing some news media sites on my target list not blocked, even though I am using the correct list syntax and the URL address does not appear complex in any way

   

  the list is only 104 entries

  any suggestions?
