portforwarding issue / vpn
this is unusual for me
so i just figured out ipv6 and have now got ports open for the first time on a starlink system
i have the issue of openvpn port is always blocked
if i got to "NAT Settings/Port Forwarding" and add a new port for my pc it works
but i am unable to put in a port for openvpn or even select it as a device
i have the option to make a rule for openvpn just not portforward it
litterly left with a blocked port
maybe im doing something wrong. just like to know why i cant enable OpenVPN when the setup says complete
i am able to connect to openvpn via local just not over the internet
:update:
i switched the port from UDP 1194 to TCP 1194 and now my port is open???? how is this a thing

In my experience, if you are using Stalink, your Firewall will likely get a private IPv4 address and a global IPv6 address. Starlink is the first line against an external network and does NAT for IPv4 traffic. Do your Firewall and local device all get global IPv6 addresses? If IPv6 is configured well, there is no need to do port forwarding.
