Look for the Netgear Nighthawk in the devices section of the Firewalla app. It’s IP is listed there. Conversely you can login to the Nighthawk through Netgear’s Nighthawk app. It’s IP is shown there, but you probably can directly set whatever you need directly in the app

Hi Jim, thanks for your response.  In devices my netgear AP doesn't show up.  I see the Firewalla has an ip address and all the devices connected.  I have it configured in router mode with netgear in AP mode with DHCP turned on.  Actually it was a pretty easy setup so far and everything is working just need to get into the access point.

You have the Nighthawk’s DHCP server on? Your setup up is identical to mine. Firewalla Gold in router mode with it’s DHCP on. Netgear Nighthawk in AP mode, but with DHCP off. Therefore the Gold issues all IPs and therefore can log and control all devices directly, even WiFi devices. I’m not sure how the AP is not showing up in the devices list, because if it is functioning normally it must have gotten its IP from the Gold.

After I rebooted the router and the ap it now shows up ... not sure why it wasn't showing up before and wifi devices working but a reboot did it.  Thank you for your thoughtful comments and help!
