View all devices - even old ones?
CompletedMy son lost his Kindle, so I was hoping Firewalla could help show me when it last connected and/or it's mac address so I could check for any network activity from it.
When I searched the device list in the Firewalla app I couldn't find the device anywhere, even though I was sure I had added it.
After a lot of searching we found the kindle, and once it came back online, after being gone for almost a month, it re-appeared in Firewalla with the correct customized name, and in the correct group.
From what I now understand, Firewalla will hide/delete devices that have been off the network for a couple of weeks. If there a way to see the full list of devices, including the hidden ones?
This would have been helpful in my case, but also it's not unusual for a device to fail and go offline until fixed. Having a list of devices that are offline, but that should be online would be really helpful.

let me see if we can do something about this. The issue of displaying old devices will likely crowd a small screen. But it is highly possible we can implement something on the web interface. If anyone else want this feature please scream here, it will speed up our development process.

Thanks! Right now do the devices remain in the database permanently, and are just hidden from view, or are they purged at some point?
We have guests that come over occasionally and connect to our wifi. It's great to have those devices reappear the same way they were configured before (and named with the previous naming - since other people have strange device names :D). By occasionally, it might be just once a month, or even once a year (e.g. the family over for X-mas).

I know that this is a old post, but is anything being done about this? Personally I expect 'all devices' to mean ALL devices, and then maybe have a filter for 'hide devices offline for n days'. I find not seeing all devices really annoying, for example my printer is currently not on the all-devices list and so how to I adjust its Firewalla profile without turning it on? Bizarrely I would have to turn it on in order to to be able to change it from using a dynamic to static IP address.
On a security note I had my Brother's family over last week. They also came over last year but I don't recall giving them the WIFI details but I must have done (I thought they all used mobile data). So when they left I was surprised to to see their phones in the all-devices list, all presumably resurrected. If those devices had been always visible in 'all devices' over the last 6 months I'd have deleted them and told the guys to use mobile data, or a least blocked social, but there's no way I could have done that until they were already here and connected to the home LAN. It seems crazy to me.
