Where to buy in European Union

Hello,

I want to buy a Firewalla Blue Plus or Gold but cannot find a shop in the European Union to buy from, does somebody know one? Don’t want to buy from the US due to taxation and warranty issues.

  You would pay effectively for tax and warranty locally anyway. In my case (Australia) there was a local reseller, official or otherwise, who did not have all of the products, and was charging enough that my saving on direct purchase from US (shipped from China) more than covered usual warranty risk.

  Yes I would have to pay taxes anyway, but on top of VAT I would have to pay import fees/taxes. I also loose the right of return within 30 days after purchase in case the product does not meet my needs and additional warranty covered under European law.

  I did purchase from the US and China in the past, US was less problematic but shipping from China caused me serious troubles with german customs including a full loss of the money since customs could not have been cleared due to a mistake of the supplier in the prodiuct declaration, but the supplier refused to take the product back. I therefore want to buy from a dealer in the European Union if possible, especially for the Firewalla products which cost between $200 and $500 which is not a negligible amount of money

  I have brought 2 units from here in the last month, both arrived within 4 days to the UK and had no problems.

  Thanks Andy for your answer. Is there a reseller in Norway or did you order from Firwalla website? If so, what Did you Payman for the shipping? Did you by private or as a company?

  Hi,

  I’m from Germany and wanted to buy from a local dealer, haven’t found one and ended up buying from the Firewalla shop on their website as a private person. The shipping cost to Germany might be the same like for Scandinavia, it was $15.99. Shipping was quite fast and without any problems - hope it helps a bit?

  Hi Thomas the postage was nothing compared to the Norwegian tax added on. I ordered through the crowd sourcing campaign when the gold was launched. The gold is awesome, but it’s not just the product it’s the support and product development with customer input. We are driving the product development and that is fantastic. I could build my own and add pfsense etc… But I’ve found this to be easy and adaptable, plus it has everything I need in one tiny box and app.

  I got it in Sweden a couple of months ago.

  Took two days from Hong Kong to Sweden with DHL Express.

  No additional taxes or VAT, for some reason.
