All the things that a non-tech user would want to do are pretty intuitive from the app's home page. I would not direct my non-tech end user to a bunch of documentation or videos unless they express a lot of interest in diving deep. If the android/IOS app isn't intuitive enough, I probably wouldn't give the non-tech user access to the portal... or I would look for another firewall product (good luck they're all way more complicated than Firewalla).

The FW user guide pages are very well written and would be a good place for an end user to start. I would personally pick out a few pages that are more relevant to the end user instead of sending them to the user guide home page.

    Start here, https://firewalla.com/pages/user-manual

Thanks. I have looked at several firewall products from Secure Computing (old boxes) and Gryphon Routers that have monitoring ( subscription cost). This firewall (blue) is the easiest. Any ideas would be appreciated

This is also another good document https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040091853-Getting-Started-with-your-Firewalla.  The front screen image is clickable and it is simpler to navigate to the right document
