Firewalla Blue Plus with Pi-Hole

    It might be different  on the Blue but on the Gold, you have to run the PiHole on a different subnet so all of your traffic looks like its coming from the same IP so it makes the filtering on PiHole basically worthless. Putting your PiHole on the same subnet and pointing your device to it for DNS breaks all kinds of stuff on the Gold.

    Maybe someone else has a better workaround Im not aware of but thats how mine is set up.

    Yes for Gold as a router, it makes sense, but if you review the instructions for Pi-Hole on Blue, they mention it slightly differently.  I'm assuming Pi-Hole doesn't do the "safe search" stuff, etc. like Firewalla can do under Family Protect.
