Applying Parental Controls to all new devices automatically
Hello All!
Looking for input on how to utilize a firewalla appliance to manage the network in a rental house... I will be providing internet access for our guests, however I want to be able to block their access to certain sites such as porn, known malware, and P2P/Torrent sites. I saw the post here about adding new devices to a group automatically that is filtered. Essentially I'm looking to whitelist the IoT devices (nest thermostat, Smart TV's and doorbell) preferably by MAC Address. Then, all the guest devices will be automatically "blacklisted" and the rules will be enforced.
I could get a switch and have two routers, one for the IoT devices and my family to connect to when we visit and stay, and then have the firewalla appliance inbetween the second router and the switch so that way all traffic on that router is sent through firewalla rules.

This is 1.971 release (early access for the Gold only), so may take a while for it to go to the rest of the platforms
