Firewalla blue connection

Hello,

I have a Verizon FIOS Gigabit connection. My modem is Fios-G1100. I am using Google WiFi System (NLS-1304-25). All devices connect to Google WiFi and no devices connect to FIOS-G1100 other than the Google WiFi base system. I am planning for a Firewalla Blue to control and monitor the traffic.

Could I connect the Firewalla to Fios-G1100 to manage and monitor the traffic as that is the path out to internet? Or should I connect it to the Google WiFi base station? I have four WiFi points that are connected to the base. Devices connect to the WiFi points that are closer. By connecting it to the base or the Fio-1100, can i manage and monitor all traffic?

you need to connect firewalla to the main router. In your case, it "has" to be google wifi, since it can not do anything without losing mesh.
