You hit a bug in the 1.970 software. (if you are running 1.971 beta, let me know).  This bug happens if you get an outage, and in certain sequence, firewalla will not fire up all the processes.

Try to reboot the firewalla, it should work after.

Note that here in the future, June 2024, this problem seems to still exist. I've had FW Purple and Gold for a few years. First time I've experienced this issue. Power dropped yesterday afternoon and this morning I was surprised to see the Gold showing no network activity and all devices offline. Reboot did the trick. FYI

@Hex, I've created a case for you, we will follow up, and will likely ask you to send logs over.

@Melvin Symes, I created a ticket for you. Please do not reboot the system.

    Same issue here. Gold SE.

Box is also not recognizing new devices and placing in quarantine. I assume this is related to the offline issue.

    Thanks

Are these devices "new" or they been to your network before? Is this a new install? or you been running it for a while?

Been up and running for about 60 days.

All the devices have been on the network previously.

Deleted  3-4 devices off the Firewalla and rebooted to test if they would be recognized as new but they were not.

Most devices show offline when they are online with a few exceptions.

@BigRiff, I have created a ticket for you too.

Usually, when devices are offline they are likely can't be pinged or reached from the firewalla. This can happen if you have them hidden behind another network (like NAT), or the switch behind is blocking ICMP.

Thank you. Currently my setup is modem (IPPT mode) > Firewalla (acting as router) > Wifi (AP mode)

I have made no network changes recently and this morning most devices showed as offline when they were online.
