Port Forwarding (using Router Mode)
I know this should be straightforward, so I'm a little confused. On every other router I've used, I have been able to get this set up quickly and easily.
I am using my Firewalla Gold in Router mode. Prior to installing the Firewalla, I had all my port forwarding set up as I wanted it. It all worked great.
Now, I can't seem to get all the port forwarding rules to work. Help?
I have one rule that works so far, so I'm fairly confident I have things set up correctly. For my other rule, I tried both TCP and UDP just in case that mattered. Both did not work for my webcam.
This rule fails...
Service: Webcam
TCP (check)
External Port: 8010
Device: {webcam name chosen}
Internal Port: 80
Allow on Firewall (active)
This rule succeeds...
Service: Device2
TCP (check)
External Port: 8086
Device: {other device name chosen}
Internal Port: 80
Allow on Firewall (active)
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks... Bill

I have a ticket already. I figured it out. I see it as a UI problem in the android app. When I entered External Port -> Device -> Internal Port, I did not click the word 'done' each time. Since I didn't click 'done', evidently the port forward setting did not save correctly, despite that it showed correctly in the app. After exiting the app and then going back into the app, both ports (external and internal) showed as the same port, instead of the two different ports that I entered.
By clicking 'Done' after typing in each of the port numbers, your app saved the data successfully and the port was able to be forwarded.
I wasted 5 hours last night fighting with this! As I was preparing to box it back up and send it back, I tried one more time and I clicked 'Done'. Success! Annoying and Frustrating!
I created a video and shared it in the ticket. (I cant share the video here without obfuscating some details...)
