Never mind. I just re-read what I posted and it clearly says modem/router. I obviously missed that before.

Ok, I am back again. My cable modem by Netgear but there are very few configuration options and Bridge Mode is not one of them. Is that going to cause an issue or do I only need to worry about changing the WiFi router?

Most of the time, you don't have to worry about the netgear cable-modem...

    1. first and foremost, take a couple of screenshots of your existing wifi/router configs, just in case... things like the WAN configuration (PPoE  vs DHCP) and LAN configs (IP, netmask etc...) and forwarding ports...
    2. reconfigure your existing wifi/router in AccessPoint (or bridge)
    3. plug the firewalla  to the netgear cable-modem using the WAN port of the firewalla
    4. plug your wifi AccessPoint (formerly wifi/router) to the LAN port of the firewalla
    5. restart everything: cable modem, then firewalla, then wifi/access point.
    6. you might have to restart your devices and redo some configs since the firewalla might change the LAN settings from your previous wifi/router.
